Got a vox big ben overdrive. need to make some recordings with it! it's a 12AU7A tube in a chrome box, real tube sound in a pedal. $179. pretty nice ...

blues jam went well tonite ... got to play a les paul
it sounded a little too muddy for my liking but very rich ... got some very good solos in, got some applause/compliments afterward ... i dunno, i basically cop eric clapton licks & minor pentatonic scale exercizes, but it's amazing how many ways you can play just one single note. in sum, it's always good for me to get in front of an audience and jam, and tonite was no exception.

got a new amp!!
an epiphone valve junior, 5-watt, class-A amp with, i think, 12AX7 and an EL84 tubes. it's a 1x8" speaker; it has exactly two knobs, the power switch and a chicken-head style volume control. that's it -- no EQ, no nuthin, but an awesome speaker, two tubes and some wires. i'm going to record some basic blues stuff latr & post it ... this amp set me back all of $140, and for that price, i got an absolute gem ...

Fuck is a really useful word. Let me explain.
Verb: To fuck.
Ostensibly, this is a coarse description of reproductive activity. But I think fuck takes on a whole new meaning. I think fuck implies a certain casualness about the sex, or a certain intimacyless sexual behavior.
Verb (2): Fuck you, or fuck off, or go fuck yourself.
Kind of like telling someone to go to hell, but regarded as more coarse.
Adjective: The fucker.(Or that fuck.) (Or, what a fucking bitch.)
Generally can be used to describe a major-league asshole.
Adverb: Fuckily.
Ok, this doesn't work.
Noun: The fuck.
Kind of the same thing as "to fuck," only in, well, noun form. The "intimacyless sexual act."
The other thing about "fuck" is that it can be used in conjunction with just about any word, and it makes that word a lot stronger.
FUCK YEAH! or Fuck no! or Fucking excellent!
